Food and Farms Day @ the Capitol

The West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition invites you to join us for Local Food and Farms Day @ the Capitol on Tuesday, February 17th a celebration of the people, projects, and policies shaping West Virginia’s local food and agriculture system.
This event is designed to showcase the strength and vibrancy of West Virginia’s local food and agricultural sector. Participants will have the opportunity to:
Meet with Senators and Delegates (scheduled for you)
Table and share your work with fellow partners and policymakers
Participate in food system demonstrations
Enjoy a West Virginia sourced breakfast
Be recognized during the reading of a resolution on the House floor

Whether you’re a farmer, food entrepreneur, advocate, or volunteer, you belong here. Legislative meetings are conducted in teams, and experienced leaders will guide you every step of the way.

- 8:00–8:30 AM – Partner Set-Up
- 8:30–11:00 AM – Tabling, Food System Demos & Legislative Meetings
- 11:00 AM – Floor Session Recognition & Resolution Reading
